Didn't they have to only race with 6 cars at Indy 2005 because the tyres would de-laminate on the banking?

It's 2012, we've had 4 de-laminations and 2 blow outs.

So, is it somehow not a safety issue now? Even though this very thing killed F1 in America for 5 ears?

Mercedes front row lockout, absolutely brilliant :)

Bonkers lap by Rosberg. His stock is being raised everyday thanks to Hamilton has his yard stick.
Hopefully they can keep this into T1 tomorrow.

I think it´s pretty clear also that they are the strongest driver line up by far.
Had the car been good in the tire management department they would have probably dominated up to now.

Rosberg is a disapointment...in races! Schumacher proved it many times last year and the year before at 43yrs old! Superb one lap speed, but in race conditions not good enough...kills the tires ,defends too hard, lacks something...needs to figure it out,or Hamilton will punish him easily over and over again.

^^ This was said by a certain someone after the Bahrain GP. And I hope that tomorrow we will see Rosberg prove him wrong.

If this race was 20 years ago (actually as close as only 4 years ago) we'd get to watch Rosberg defend for his life for 66 Laps. Which would be fantastic watching a field of 4 or 5 cars chasing the leader.

However, it's 2013, and they're all gonna push that little button that lets them pass.

What skill. How exciting.
