Some Stats of SPA :
1. Sebastian and Jenson was on Podium for last 2 races. One of them Did a Charge through field for Podium(JB 2011, SV 2012) while Other cruised to Victory(SV 2011, JB 2012).
2. The Samurai Warrior didn't win on Spa yet and wasn't on Podium here since 2007 with P2 which was his Best and Last Podium.
3. After The win in Spa 2010 . Lewis Hamilton yet to finish the Race in Spa. He crashed spectacularly in 2011 with Kamui and Grosjean'd in 2012.
4. Kimi's Win or Bust at Spa was Broken with his P3 in 2012.
Apart from Mclaren, Ferrari , Redbull and Force India Other team yet to start on Pole.

Are they even sure that F1 cars won't "crack" the asphalt (well the rest that is still there) open with all that downforce and sticky tyres? It is not like we haven't seen that before

it´s only for the first 5 rows on the starting grid and they won´t crack because of F1 cars going over them.

Puncture for Vettel and crash for van der Garde.
At the same spot of the track. Van der Garde looked so clumsy that I suspect that he had a puncture already too.
I just think Van Der Garde made a mistake, also Vettel I think had a slow puncture

Yep Van Der Garde ran out of talent those two rears still look inflated to me
To clear off standing water, that part of the grid must dip a bit which would hold a bunch of water. Not sure if there was a official circuit press release over it, but I believe that's the general idea.
Fernando Alonso also had a Puncture on his IN lap after FP2
