2011 GP2 Series

The two Dams cars... ouch! There were some silly and un-necessary maneuvers being pulled off in that video.

I think when you see the circuit as crowded as that - surely extending the qualifying session in future would help to limit the number of accident due to sheer lack of space?

And Pål Varhaug of course! He's nothing more than 20 years old. :)

Apart from his GP3 round 1 win last year(no point scored later in the season, shall I remind you), what has he done so far?

Anyway - if GP2 is a youth contest, then 17 years old Ceccon should win.

I don't think it'd have much effect as long as they let them do unlimited amounts of laps.

Plus they are running very tight schedules with F1 and all feeder series, I don't think they can afford extending sessions for every single series.

The GP2 field is so poor this year, only Jules Bianci I think has a future in F1

He ought to calm down first, he is probably one of the most crashy drivers of the field.

Poor field, hmm, I wouldn't say that really. Sure, Wickens, Ricciardo, Rossi and Vergne are in WSR. But the amount of very experienced guys present in GP2(Grosjean, Filippi, van der Garde, etc) make it extremely hard for any newcomer to make decent stuff straight away. When you see where Gutierrez is at the moment, after overpowering GP3 last year...

I just wanted to put out the best Norwegian driver ever.

That's just poor driving from pretty much all of the drivers out there! Shockingly bad.
And to think some of these kids might be thrown into an F1 cockpit in Abu Dhabi at the end of the year!
Death trap if you ask me.

That's gravel.

BTW, Sergio? Onlt 15 finishers?

Since when does Fauzy count as finished with a DNF?:p Oh dear Grosjean drove like a muppet in practice, and Leimer is slow...

But is there a stream for the second race? Eurosport stopped, and I don't know how I can see the races.

Btw: The Eurosport Motorsport Mag on Sunday is ****e. Just little highlights, and the commentator, even though known, seems to sleep through it sometimes.

Yea, only 14 finishers. Bianchi pulling a Raïkkonen on van der Garde at the chicane, the two iSports taking out each over twice in two laps, Leal having a huge crash at Casino, many others taking themselves out, etc. Just one of these days.

Strong performance from Grosjean anyway. From 26th to 4th(only championship contender in the points also, if of course you except Valsecchi), thanks to a great strategy.
