Ok, for the last lap, I have this move in store:

weeeeeell, not quite ... to be honest.

but if I manage to pull it off, you may call me "el tractorista" :)

pb of the slowest guy on grid: 1:34:2xy (on a lap with a mistake worth 0.5)

thats old stuff. but still great

Look at Jan Magnusson does it. I believe Toby from WTM has seen this before, ore ?

I think it bad driving. Jan are trying the last 30 min of the race to get past Bergmeister and on last race of season, last lap, lastcorner
he does that. Not my likeing.
But nice to watch

Shame Bob, we need to get professional simracing sponsored by Microsoft, AMD and so on

.

That would make it easier, but they would have to sponsor hobby racing for me.

I wont be able to make it this week guys :( the wheel is dead (again) and there is no guarantee on its repair or anything like that so its for the best that I back out of this one.

I have to agree as well surley this guy is due some infractions

Sorry to Andreas in race 1, your BMW was sideways just about and I tried not to collect you on the way through the corner.

My apology to everyone I was racing with in race 2, I quit as I was get too annoyed with myself, made contact a bit too much and was just losing ground all the time. Every time I took 1 step forward I dropped 2 back. Twice I got caught out by the car in front braking, sorry if I ruined your race, my fault completely. I never hit intentionally, if I do its by accident.

I am starting to think about giving up racing sims for good, don't enjoy it as much as I used too :(

For me it´s sinless to speak to the race, it quite equal what happen there cause after 20 min my race is anyway over. All behind me are smiling and pass me, my laptimes are 2-3 sec slower - so i´m quite disappointed from the car, was not thinking it´s so hard.
Already last season it was hard over the distance with the e90 but at least i had a competetive car, now it´s only ridicoulous tbh. Cu at the next ice skating meeting.

@ Kenny: no problem, you couldn´t expect it really. And you have not to leave, your Seat is also not the best choice of the league if you are disappointed from your speed.

Congrats to podiums and specially to teammate Ivo for the win :).

Extremley disapointed, the one track where i know I have the pace to run with the front runners and I just watch them disapeer off into the sunset in there Alfa's. If anyone wants to design a prediction contest like the ATCC ive got:

Jesper to win the title
Neto 2nd
Lopez 3rd

Quali went well, at 1:33:5 I was 0.5 better than my previous best on RD server, Bruno did a great very very last lap so I slipped down one to 27th of 29.

WarmUp: did a lap below 1:34 for the first (and last) time ever with full tanks, so very happy about the race to come.

Race1: starting from the back I gave a little room and managed to avoid the inevitable pileup at corkscrew and the final 90 degree turn in the slow lap. Had some nice fighting with Chris who fairly knocked me up so after 5 or 6 laps I decided I could hold on no longer and let him pass in t1 and t2. He dutifully vanished, gaining about a second on me for the rest of the race. Running in last position I was a little frustrated that with tires fairly shot after the fighting first laps I could not get anywhere close to my WarmUp times. To make matters worse I was lapped by Jesper running at a speed which defies description. Then all of a sudden Bruno appeared just 2 secs or so away from me with two laps to go, inching closer we ran into trouble in the final lap as an FDR Beemer plowed through the sand on the straight leading up to corkscew, Bruno ran a little wide and I squeezed through while at the same time letting Miguel lap me, so there was my best move of the race with all of 30 secs to go, lol. Finished 27th of 29.

Race2: I figured this would be a slower race due to the reverse grid slowing down the leading players, so I hoped to have more of a chance. As it turned out I had some hugely entertaining battles with Bruno, Chris and Yuri in the first ten or so laps. The best racing of the tournie so far, all very clean and fair (sorry Chris for my very very early breakpoints which must have maddened you). Then I was all of a sudden surrounded by three FDRs, two Beemers and one Alfa of which the Alfa got back to speed and quickly passed me while Yuri left the game running just ahead of me sending lots of sparks into the air. That left only Hugo within striking distance and strike I did (unfortunately) by accidently pushing him off in the final turn with two laps to go. I dutifully waited for him to recover, losing another place to Georgios, then passed Hugo for good and finished 24th of 25 still running.

The second race was great, saw the Beemers sufering hugely from the warm track, shame on that. A little disappointingly many players left before us backbenchers had finished. At least on my PC there's always a little hiccup when someone leaves the server, so the final three turns were a bit wobbly :(

cu all in 14 days, thx admins and RD for setting everything up perfectly.

Qualy: managed on the last lap pull out a reasonable lap which got me P26, I was last but one before the lap.

Race1:
I don’t really enjoy this rolling starts can never get a good start to have a chance to overtake the guy in front but at least it’s safe. Had a few battles early on, were I lost a few places (was a bit too cautious ) .Had the middle of the race was quite until I started to see Yuri, it seemed he was struggling with something so I decided to pressure him until he made a mistake, I could see he was losing time so I decided to have a go J, sadly on the same lap I got a bit too eager and lost control of my car and got suspension damage and lost my splitter, tried not to lose more positions but couldn’t, came in last placed.

Race 2 (much better):
Calm start to the race, starting last, picking up places from people mistakes and started to climb in positions. Got a bit of pressure from Yuri but lost him when he done a mistake ,had more chance to get a few more places when people ahead made mistakes, so I took my chance. Lap 8 had a nice battle with Jonas but he eventually got through, but I had more chances to move up on other persons mistakes, some nice clean battles. For a few laps had a few battles with Ryan as he went off a few times, but he was quicker than me so he won that one. Finished 20th (I think).
Clean racing from all I battled with, so I am happy.

Grats to Jesper and Ivo

Had some great racing tonight. :)

Q: Was the whole time arround place 12th. Final lap i managed to go 0.090 faster and gave me 8th. Very close Q again.

Race 1: Great racing with Pedro the whole race. Got one move on him in the beginning but couldnt make it stick. Rest of the race i followed him where in the last laps his tyres where shot and i could gain on him. Very difficult to overtake on Laguna but got him in T1 in the last laps. 7th at the end.

Race 2:

P2 on the grid. All i said to myself just dont make big mistakes. Followed Pedro again alot of laps. Where Matthias and Ariel battled it out behind me. Race went on until lap 14th. Where again Pedro his tyres where gone, so was gaining again. Problem was that Ariel also got passed Matthias in that lap and started to gain a little. Closed the gap to Pedro and tried to make a move on him. Was worred abit because i couldnt really pass him and the guys behind me got advantage of that. Second to last lap i got finally a opening on the exit of the last turn. Got side to side with Pedro and could do a outbraking action on him at T1. Last lap i tried to just keep my lines and was hoping it was the last lap. :D. Lucky it was and got P1. Great result for me on a track what is not on my favorite list.
Had really fun today. And want to say thanks to Pedro for two enjoyable and fair races. :)

Qualy: I didn't have the lap I wanted, since I was able to do 30,9 on practice, but I could only manage 31,1 and started 7th, wich was good.

R1: Here began my 2 race battle with Ivo, wich I can say it was the cleanest fair racing I had in RD. We were together for the entire race, at the final laps I saw he was consistent, and I was fighting with the car. After some close calls and great manouvers he passed me and I finished 8th.

R2: First time I was on "pole" and I knew that I could be fast at the begining of the race, so I pushed for it and I was first until lap 19 of 20 (dam you Ivo) :) . We had the same distance the whole race, between 2 and 3 seconds, but when my tyres were worn and I made a mistake I was in trouble. Ivo was 1 sec away and at the begining of last lap I miss the apex on the final corner and Ivo takes me. I was so close to my first win at RD! Well I Hope I will get other oportunities.
Grats to Jesper and IVo off course, great racing.

See you next race.
