The engine is fitted with Mahle pistons, Total Seal rings, stock connecting rods with ARP rod bolts, an external oil cooler, and a mildly ported head. Currently an Isky cam with W-101 grind is installed and compression is about 12:1. Twin carbs are Weber 42-DCOE units and the header is made by Stahl. The fuel cell has a custom made surround that is cleanly installed, and the Facel fuel pump and filter are also located in the trunk.
