Here is the #72 V/J Racing Camaro driven by Jack Westlund in select events throughout the 1970-1971 Trans-Am seasons. From what I can find, a 7th place finish at Edmonton in 1971 seems to be his best result. Enjoy!

    ACL #88 Maurice Carter '69 Camaro (1970 TA) 1.0

This is the #88 Camaro, piloted by Canadian Maurice Carter in the 1970 Trans-Am season. He found success with this machine, scoring a best of 4th at Mid-Ohio and finishing in the top 10 fairly often. Expect more paint schemes, I am not stopping anytime soon. Enjoy!

    ACL #24 Marshall Robbins '70 Camaro (1971 TA) 1.0

Here is Marshall Robbins' Camaro from 1971. There are only 2 pictures I could find of this car, both from Watkins Glen. A model of consistency, Robbins finished 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th in ALL of his 8 starts in 1971. Enjoy!

    ACL #48 Dick Hoffman '70 Camaro (1972 TA) 1.0

I've posted enough Mustangs for the moment, so next are some Camaros! To start off, here's one of my favorites: the #48 H & H Racing Camaro from the 1972 Trans Am season. From the Historic Trans Am webpage on this car: "The number 48 was uniquely chosen for the 4 and 8 being the fourth and...

    ACL #15 and #16 1971 Bud Moore Mustangs (1971 TA) 1.0

As a follow-up to the 1970 Bud Moore cars, here are the 1971 versions. Slightly different sponsors, same in almost every other aspect. Follmer was elevated to the primary #15, whereas Peter Gregg took control of the #16. Follmer took 2 wins on the season, but ultimately no one could best...

    ACL #61 Dan Furey '70 Mustang (1970?? TA) 1.0

Here's another Dan Furey car, this time #61. Unsure of what year this paint scheme was ran, I put 1970 as that seems to be the most likely but I can't for the life of me find anything that 100% confirms this. If anyone knows for sure what year please let me know and I'll update this if...

ACL #1 and #2 Shelby Racing Mustangs (1969 TA) 1.0

    ACL #32 Gene Harrington '70 Mustang (1971 Bryar) 1.0

Tope Racing Enterprises seemed to have been busy in 1971. In addition to Tope's own #31, which would see much success in the coming years, they also fielded this #32 periodically for Gene Harrington. This is the car roughly as it appeared at Bryar Motorsports Park in 1971. The engine didn't...

ACL 1971 Trans Am Season #3 DeLorenzo and #4 Thompson '70 Mustangs 1.0

For the 1971 Trans-Am season, Bud Moore sold 2 Fords to Troy Promotions, who fielded the #3 and #4 for DeLorenzo and Thompson. They usually ran in the top 5 wherever they showed up. I'm very happy with how these turned out, definitely one of my favorite paint schemes of the era. Enjoy!
