the officilal update from urd fixed nothing. this fixes everything. thankyou

also thankyou for just mentioning how to install
excellent man!
Fantastic!!!
URD just updated the car to 2.0, and gave it way more downforce. No idea if it was because of this mod, but you have to wonder. Now the URD official version is incredible and the laptimes are much more realistic.
Wonderfull update. Thanks für sharing.
Thank you for making this nice update. Feels much more realistic to me. Maybe a tiny bit to much downforce but i guess more realistic than the original physics.
Thanks for sharing your improvement.
As of 2.3: muy bueno
D
miracles do happen :D
Well, there's a problem. By lap 2 at Suzuka, using default aero settings, the front tires are hitting 130-135 temps and the rears aren't much less. Basically, you've added so much downforce that it's cooking the tires within just 2 laps of *careful* driving. Adding even a single brief front lockup (at any time) sends the tire soaring into the bright red 140-150 range - at which point, the race is effectively over. This is not realistic. Maybe the new downforce levels are correct, but the tires simply can't handle them. This was tested at various initial inflation levels and always with the same result: Badly overcooked tires by lap 2. By lap 4 the race is over, since the tires are all bright red and the grip falls off to nothing.

Ok mate, I’ll take a look into it. I’ve always tested in Okayama and I haven’t experienced this kind of problem. I’ll try to make the tyres more fireproof ahaha
FANTASTIC!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! ;-D
Thank you for taking the time to do this. You've made this car worth driving again!
Wow this thing feels awesome now, I was so looking forward to driving this car having been a fan of Super GT for many years but I really hated the way it drove, now though its a beast and has so much more grip, I'm not sure how accurate or realistic it is compared to the real life cars but I dont really care to be honest as it is now huge fun to drive.

Lap times are almost identical, and judging by onboard videos the car seems pretty much like the real one in terms of handling.

Thank you for the review!
Great work. I agree that (uncharacteristically) URD seems to have dropped the ball on the downforce available to these cars IRL. The lap times are now much more comparable to the real cars. Hopefully URD sees this and comes out with a similar update.

They’ve released the car almost 2 years ago, and it never got an update.. I highly doubt it
yeees!! now we can enjoy property this car! thanks mate!!
Very Awesome! Just what the car needed!
This is awesome. Thanks
Yes - this is what everyone was thinking but they were afraid to do. Great job.
It only works with urd_jt5_2016_shiro_r1. it says " urd_jt5_2016_shiro_r2/urd_jt5_2016_shiro_r1.kn5 NOT FOUND. when you try one of the other cars.

Oh you’re right, that’s because of the LODs file. Sorry I’ll make 3 different folders in the next update
