This UK lockdown is allowing me to look back at several championships and along with other modders and community members, I am learning so much more. Especially around extension config files

Therefore I've updated the RW1-17 files for this championships so that lights and replacement objects work

1. Go here to download; https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fDCw7P_0H4PRa_y4rQSc3XWep3kZozaJ?usp=sharing

2. Then place in here; YouPC:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded

I will be adding Rainfx to all the tracks over time as well. So, if you have the Patreon version of Custom Shaders Patch by Ilya along with my weather plans for SOL it will make for a more immersive race weekend.

As ever - please recognise all the hard work done by the mod community to help support any future development - Thank you

Hope you find this useful

Any constructive comments gratefully received

These are just some of the F1 cars and circuits I have enjoyed racing during a very different and challenging 2020 and the 70 Year Formula One celebration
Well, that's it then.
xmas Custom Thumbnail_ACCozy61_1080p.jpg
The end of a very different Formula One season.

A season full of highs, lows and extreme drama.

We said goodbye to familiar names and welcomed new names to the grid.

It overcame what appeared to be insurmountable odds to provide us with not one but seventeen race weekends!

Well done to all involved

Here's to 2021 and the changes it brings

I have added some preset grids for race Week 16 and 17 plus the Aitken (Williams), Fittipaldi (HASS) and Russell (Mercedes) skins to the download

Skins can be found here also

As ever, stay safe, keep on racing and a Happy Holidays to all - wherever you are.

Hi Simracers
Screenshot (337) (Large) (Medium).png

I have updated the championship mod to include the 1000th race F1 Ferrari livery from Qtaro

DRS zones here Just copy the drs_zones.ini file to RW9 data folder

Screenshot (340).png

Also in the zipped download is a Mugello grid preset for use with the championship and it can be used for when you are not racing in the championship mode.

You can use this preset to race the new skin in Mugello reverting back to the original grid when moving on to Russia.

You will need to preserve your data by following this video if you wish to change the car skins/grid in the championship

Bit of a faff but manageable

Hi Simracers and F1 fans

Have now changed the tyres.ini and ext_config.ini to allow all 5 tyres to change on the fly in the setup - All we need now is a wiz with luts for the physics :D

Thanks to Arthur Morgan for his assistance with the RSS FH 2020 tyres - They can now be loaded from soft to wet in the 'Tyres' setup menu.

My data.acd, wet_data.acd and extension files can be found in my shared drive in MODS/RSS FH 2020 Tyre modification Wet to soft folder (Just drag them into yourPC:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\rss_formula_hybrid_2020 Folder and overwrite when asked)

NOTE ** Make a copy of the original files if you're unsure in case you want to go back.

AI default tyres
For dry tracks use data .acd file

For wet tracks and tyres - Rename data.acd to dry_data.acd and the wet_data.acd to data.acd

Hope that helps

Hi Simracers and F1 fans

With the new Rain FX feature coming to Assetto Corsa soon courtesy of Ilja Jusupov aka x4fab and following comments about immersion and slicks in the wet (totally agree it’s a bummer) I wanted to provide a short video to update you on an ad hoc wet tyre feature for the RSS FH 2020 Custom championships.

It is a work in progress and the wet tyres do not (that I know) have their specific compound physics. This is purely an aesthetic approach for the time being until race Sim Studio or a Car Modder can provide the option to change all 5 tyre compounds on the fly with their relevant physic properties

I tried but I am a tinkerer/problem solver more than I’m a Modder but would like some help to do this via setup so we can have all the range available on the RSS FH 2020 mod.

I do hope you find this quick fix useful for now
