Before I just now "test drove" this track, I assumed that this was the "Circuit of the Americas" track in Austin, TX -- which is a track that I have never yet raced on my PC, but having seen footage of it on T.V. (Formula 1 races), it looks like one of the most awesome Formula 1 circuits that exists...
I was completely wrong: The "Road America" track is a real-life circuit in Wisconsin -- one which I had never heard of until just now.
The circuit, thank goodness, is fairly long (about 4 miles), and is primarily comprised of medium to high speed turns of which there aren't many. Hence, it is primarily a nice higher speed circuit; hence, the 4 miles passes somewhat quickly. Most of the track is wide open, some parts have barriers and thus reminisce of a 'street circuit.' There is also some elevation change.
The graphical detail throughout the entire track is superb. Flora (i.e., trees) very strongly appears authentic "Wiscon-esque."
The sky textures are some of the best and most realistic, if not the realistic, of any sky textures of any rfactor mod I have ever downloaded.
Very nice track.
