To change these values yourself you need to download the Ego ERP Archiver.
Then you go to steam/steamapps/common/F1 24/2024_asset_groups/f1_2024_vehicle_package/teams, and from there you have to select the team you want to change (in this case all of them). For example go to ferrari/wep and open the ferrari.erp file with the Ego ERP Archiver (EEA).

Then the EEA screen will pop up. There you select the 'Xml Files' tab (in the second row, not the option at the very top of the screen), which will then show you the 'ferrari.vtf' file, which you should select. Then go to the 'Xml Files' option at the very top of the screen and click on export, then export the file to your desktop.

Now that you have the ferrari.vtf on your desktop you can open it with 'Notepad' or something like that. Then you see hundreds of lines of code for the ferrari team ingame. Press Ctrl+F to search the following line: F1SuspensionDamage. This will take you to the line of code I have put up above. Then copy the lines i have put up here on this topic and replace all the lines that have been changed (so from SpeedThreshold value to FullDetachScale value). Once you have done that you can save it.

Then go back to your EEA and select the ferrari.vtf file again. Then click on Xml Files at the top of the screen again, but this time select 'import'. Then select the ferrari.vtf file on your desktop (the one you have changed) and then import it. Then all you have to do is click on 'File' in the top left corner of your screen and save it.

You have to repeat this with every team, so it may take a few minutes. But you can change the values yourself till you are pleased with it. You can even change the performance of the different teams using this.

I hope this helps.
In light of the release of the latest version of F1 24 i have updated this mod. It should now be compatible with the latest livery update, like the HP Ferrari.

Furthermore, realistic damage has been added for the F2 cars. I haven't had much time to test these values too much, so i'd be happy to hear feedback on this.
I slightly tweaked the damage sensitivity of mainly the suspension, as i found that the suspension would break a bit too easily especially with low speed contact. This update should slightly increase the resilience of the suspension as well as the front wing.

I would be happy to hear any feedback.

If you prefer the previous version you could look at poostick's mod which basically uses the same damage sensitivity values as the previous version.

What do you think about subscription models in simracing?
