Magnus Walker Collection for Porsche 911 Singer FINAL

IMPORTANT: If you're coming from a previous version, delete all of the existing skins with "Magnus" in the folder name, or you will have duplicates!

Changes:

• Renamed folders with preceding "zz_" to ensure they appear at the end of the list of skins.
• Now includes full folder structure. To install, just extract to the root Assetto Corsa folder.
• Removed body maps. I noticed they looked a little strange under certain lighting and weather conditions.
• Removed AO from body textures. This will make them appear a little brighter overall, but should reduce blotchiness.
• AWD version now supported. Using default rims because they looked out of place with the colours I wanted to use. I also took a few creative liberties on the new fixed wing, but I hope I kept them in line with how Magnus himself would design it. Each of the STR versions look a little more unique now.
• Updated all previews to reflect the changes above.

This will be the FINAL release! I'd like to focus my time on other projects from here on out. I have a couple more ideas for the Singer, but I'd also like to work on skinning other cars too.

Just thought I'd take a minute to point out that with the latest update to the Singer 911, there's now an AWD version available. At this time, these skins are NOT compatible. However, I am planning to issue an update to include compatibility at a later date. The reason is because the AWD version has a different rear wing and rims, so the skins need to be updated accordingly.

I also have a couple other Singer skin releases in the pipeline. It's just a matter of finding the time to add a few coats of wax and polish them up. No ETA, but expect them soon. Likely sooner than the Magnus collection being updated.

Thanks everyone who has downloaded, reviewed, and used these skins. It's been a labour of love, and I hope you'll agree that I've taken a keen eye to detail. Your support is appreciated!

  • Still missing the small decal on the upper right front fender above the Porsche logo. Sorry, but I can't figure out what it is. If anyone knows, please comment in the Discussion tab and I'll issue another update ASAP. I've already delayed this release long enough, and I felt that a single missing decal shouldn't hold it back any longer.

Install:

Simply extract the 7z archive to /content/cars/bo_singer/skins and/or /content/cars/bo_singer_38/skins and overwrite all existing files if you've previously downloaded an older version
