Somewhat new to Sim Racing but have been messing around with Assetto Corse for about a year. This has to be the most fun track I've found. So much to see and the roads are great to drive, cant wait to get the all acess but need to find another way to pay not a big fan of PayPal

Thanks mate, glad you're having lots of fun in the Canyons... Unfortunately with the store platform I went with there are limited to no other options. Still a lot of people online cruise/race around the Main loop, so you can find plenty of skilled drivers online to give you a challenge if you want one! :) Have fun!
Love it thanks!

Thanks Kamz.. Have fun, Drive safe!
Beautiful, I used to carve these canyons on my bike.

Phoenix77
Thanks Isaac, awesome that you've carved these canyons in real life, I hope you're enjoying doing it without consequence in a sim. Drive/Ride safe dude!
Great track with lots of details. Got the paid VIP version as well. I really don't understand the 1 star review from people who lack the ability to follow step by step instructions. That rating should be applied to the reviewer's own ability to follow directions.

Thanks a lot for the support, well these people don't get the years of work involved by myself, Ben and everyone else that made this possible. I believe in what goes around comes around, so they'll learn... Hopefully for their sake!
thanks for the great track

Thanks Alex, hope you're having loads of fun :)
This is amazing.

I do a lot of sim racing in ACC. It's a lot of fun and all but you know, with setting up the car, focusing on the race and your opponents for half an hour or so, it can be taxing on the mind from time to time.

But when I need to do some chill driving, I boot up AC, hop in a MX-5 or a E92 M3 (something along those lines), put some music at the background and go for a drive in VR.

It's so relaxing to cruise around on these roads, it's exactly what I needed. No lap times. No setups to worry about. It's just the perfect place to unwind. Overall, great job Phoenix77.

One quick question though, I noticed that some of the roads are blocked. I know that if I purchase the VIP pack, they'll be unlocked but would I be able to drive around on those roads if I join a server which is running the "Main" pack or do I have to find a server running the VIP freeroam track?

Phoenix77
Thanks turtal for the detailed review, that's a great way to use the Canyons!

The Main & VIP work together online perfectly... So you can find a Freeroam or Mount Lawlor Tourist server (the most common 70+ servers usually use) and drive anywhere... Just those without the VIP won't be able to follow you if you drive along a VIP road.
great track, love it

Excellent road! I love chilling and driving around in a Subaru, Miata, Stradale 33 and many more cars.

Awesome thanks, glad you're enjoying chilling on these great Californian roads :)
Easily the best Assetto Corsa mod out there, but my friend was able to find Azusa Mountain Road and Glendora Mountain Road are those in the free version or paid version?
Phoenix77
Phoenix77
Thanks Jacob, glad you think it's the best AC mod... AMR & GMR are not in this mod though, they're made by someone else!

This area includes - Angeles Crest Hwy, Angeles Forest Hwy, Upper Big Tujunga. (Main Version)

Extension of 15 miles to Angeles Crest Hwy, Mount Wilson Road, Big Tujunga (VIP Version)
Thank you so much, I am installing most up to date version. I got the platinum access. So I will be smoking out all of these areas very hard.

Thanks Gopher, for the support... and the cool videos... I hope in between smoking all the roads out, you find the shout out to your Youtube channel ;)

Cheers dude!

Muito obrigado, divirta-se!
Love this mod. Just made a new cinematic in the form of a Canyon Race to showcase it at night. Featuring the very cool Schirmer GT M3 and the Emfini M3, setting the tone well for a NFS Carbon-like battle.

This is so awesome considering these roads lie straight north of me. I downloaded my own car (GTI) and it's super cool!

Is there a way to control what pit I start at? I can't find anything.
Phoenix77
Phoenix77
Awesome, glad you live near these epic roads... And that you can drive it safely how you've always probably wanted to, without consequences!

There are Information_***.txt documents in all the layout folders... Mainly for server admins to place cars.
If you're in practice mode, you'll start at the Pit 0 location.

There is also a map.png showing the overall area, with area names, in every layout folder
Nice one ;o/) cheers

Thanks Big Si, glad you're liking it :)

Thanks... Gracias!
This is awesome! But I need some help. I bought the premium version of the map and wanted to play the pursuit game mode. How do I get the cars to chase me? I can just drive through the cop models that are there.
Phoenix77
Phoenix77
Thanks, the Pursuit mode is for online server use only, with two groups spread over the map...
The 'Evade' line is at the Angeles Forest Hwy / Upper Big Tujunga junction... (blue dot on the preview image). Offroad is counted as valid track, so you can literally get there anyway you like. Registering a valid laptime if you manage to make it there in one piece :)

Checkout the text files, inside all the layout folders for more info on each layout! Cheers!
