The texture work, layout and track side detail is quite nice. It has a lovely flow with a great mix of fast and tight corners. A pure blast to drive around in older Formula One cars.

The only negative I can think of is the bumpiness of the cobble stone. It can cause many lower-height cars to scrape the ground unpleasantly. If I had one thing to suggest improvement it would to smooth out the cobble stone.

Thanks for the feedback, Banoub. As you said, it is great with older cars and when I was making the track, I never considered the people might try to use cars with really low ground clearance.

The physical mesh for the cobblestone section only varies in height by a really small amount (+-30mm I think) so I am surprised that you are scraping the bottom of the car - can I ask which cars give you this problem? When I release v1.1 the cobblestone section will have a much smaller step up from the tarmac but I am happy to test it out with a car of your choice first.
Very very impressed!! Hope you can make a Nurburgring from that years. Thx!!
Holy expletive! This is mega fun track. 1st class! Thank you very much. :)
fantastic track in VR - thanks for the hard work - sent you money to buy yourself a well deserved beer

I normally end up deleting 80% of tracks downloaded but this one is def a keeper - top quality content

That's very kind of you :) Even better that you enjoy using the track. Comments like yours make it really worth while - cheers.
need reverse track ;)
I love it, it's very well optimized, it has curves like good straight lines, and the European environment with a lot of flora (green)
My new favorite track in assetto Thx
I have been racing almost exclusively on this track since I came back from my little vacations in May, and I already have more than 1400km on it. It's a real blast with the right cars. Some turns are really hard to master, like the very first one when you arrive at full speed, or the two slow ones right before the hairpin, both of them in a downhill. Of course, scenery is beautiful and detailed, it doesn't look rushed like other modded tracks. Excellent, truly worth of a perfect score. Can't wait to see what you have done with Charade.

Thanks Nico! I have nearly 13,000km on this track now, and I still really enjoy it :D You are right, that it has some magical corners, that in the right car, feel great when you get them right.

Regarding Circuit Charade, to be honest with you, I think I will probably scrap my version. Another guy, drmaboul02, has made and released the old layout that I was going to make and people seem very happy with it, so there's really not much point in making a second version.
A real work of art!

Would be amazing if there was a non race version i.e no advertising banners, stands etc... that would make it perfect for just going for a drive in the countryside.

Will there be a traffic mod in the future?

Thanks very much! I'm sorry, but there won't be any other versions of this track, and things like banners and grandstands are so reliant on other objects (such as vegetation and terrain shading) that it would not be practical to remove them, although I understand why you would want to. I have been working on this track for over a year and I really need to finish off v1.1 and move on.
Amazing Track
Fantastic track!! Beautiful scenery!!
Kudos to the designer!! You are amazing!!!!
Epic sensation driving this with the AC Legends mod .. see for yourself!

(i hope the link works)
Awesome track with some tricky corners and good fast parts, cool ambience all over the way. A little disturbing, the pitlane is rated as "cut detected", but not enough to give only 4 stars. Great work.

Cheers! A few other people have mentioned the pitlane "cut detected" problem, too. I haven't experienced this myself but it will be fixed for v1.1
cool merci pour le taff

merci d'avoir essayé mon circuit
Awesome work mate (as always) and many congrats for seeing it through to completion. Like Thomson... A pure work of genius! :)
This has become one of my favorite road track in the game, sorry Kunos but it is above Highlands, my opinion. Very nice job, thanks for sharing this beauty :)
It`s a bit like a shorter road version of Nordschleife.

Thanks very much. I agree with you about Nords. It's even split into individual, distinct sections, with technical parts, fast flowing parts, and even a flat out chance for a rest towards the end of the lap. I really enjoy driving round here, even now, 12 months after starting work on it.
Really good Track. But with some Cars it feels like the cobble Stones wear out my G27 :( Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is horrible over the Stones.

The cobbles are no bumpier than Kunos' Highlands circuit. However, there is a physical step up from tarmac to cobbles as you enter the village, but this will be reduced by 75% for v1.1. Also, do you have your Road Effects or Minimum Force set particularly high, as this will exaggerate the FFB from the cobbles.
So I just bought my first FFB wheel and I had on no other track the same fun like on this here. First time I could enjoy the Alfa GTA and BMW Gr.A because on the keyboard they were just not controllable

Congratulations on your wheel! Thanks for trying my track, and I promise the cobble stones won't wear it out :D
Wow! I mod a lot of my games and so in my time have downloaded a ton of stuff, some good some bad and few that are downright terrible. This track however is one of the best pieces of modding I have come across.
If you told me that this was an official release I would have no trouble believing that. The attention to detail is sublime right down to era appropriate crowds and TV cameras.

Do yourself a favour download this track NOW!
I agree with what has been said, going down in the village is an awesome experience in VR. Great attention to details. I wish there was open road support (in AC), it's a real pleasure to drive around just for the fun of it and admire the creative work.

Well done.
This track is exceptional. Going through the village downhill at the beginning especially is just amazing. You've really captured the spirit of vintage tracks and I can't wait to race here next week (https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/gta-feldbergring-mon-04june18.152023/). Great work! This and your Thomson track clearly show you as one of the best track makers for AC right now -- I eagerly await seeing your future work :-)
