NOW COMPATIBLE WITH SOL/WEATHERFX
Please note - installation has changed slightly.
For best results use with, Peter Boese Sol and x4fab dynamic lights shaders patch.
INSTALLATION
1. Copy the extracted 'content' and ‘MOD’ folders into you main Assetto Corsa folder. If prompted to do so, select ‘Replace files in the destination’. There is no need to delete previous versions of my packs with this latest build.
2. Activate the ‘Deems Track Pack’ Mod via content manager.
3. The skin will then be selectable via 'skins' in Content Manager.
With the mod activated, my skins will be used and the WeatherFX seasons will be disabled - but only for the tracks containing my skins. All other tracks not within the pack will use WeatherFX season textures for spring, summer, autumn and winter. WARNING - if you select my skins without having my mod activated in the Mods section of content manager there will be compatibility issues with textures and colours.
If you have more than 1 track pack, you only need to copy the 'MOD' folder over once. Snow editions will also be compatible using the Mod folder from this pack.
****PLEASE NOTE****
When installing an updated version, it's always best to load the original Kunos textures once before using skins. You can reload skins using Content Manager, but this doesn't always work.
Improved grass texture and colour blend of 3D/2D grass for many tracks.
Replaced kunos ads with real ads on all tracks
Fixed snow on pine trees at Spa
Fixed preview icons for all
Various other tweaks
When updating please remove previous packs manually. The easiest way to do this is to search for ‘winter deem’ and delete all folders. Some tracks have textures removed during updates but these will not be deleted when updating and this could cause things to display incorrectly.
****PLEASE NOTE****
Also, when installing an updated version, it's always best to load the original Kunos textures once before using skins. You can reload skins using Content Manager, but this doesn't always work.
Changed folder structure. To Install just drag the content folder into your main assetto corsa folder. Select track skin in Content Manager.
Not to be confused with my winter SNOW skins pack. These are 2 different mods.
Manually delete previous versions of winter deem for best results.
Silverstone and Vallelunga added.
Mugello and Imola now added.
This update includes my first winter version of the Feldbergring.
Update 1.1
Lots of changes to Brands Hatch including updated trees and grass. Unfortunately there is no easy way to update the spectators to winter versions with Brands Hatch, but it is possible.
Once the file has been uncompressed, copy the file 'people_stand' to assettocora>content>texture. Back up the original first as it will replace it. It's a pain to do this every time you want to use the track, but you may prefer the updated spectators and be happy to use them permanently.
Winter standing spectators should work with all my other track skins without this hassle.
Oh, and Happy new year all.
