Long time I haven't working on this, I was busy with the traditional Assetto Corsa.
Reshade has been updated to ver. 5.3.0
Broadcast TV has been optimized simplified for better performance, thanks also to all I learned from Assetto Corsa developement
Reworked colour to better match the broadcast camera view and as such removed few shaders to also improve performance, temperature tone has been removed to macth the standard game white balance
I finally found how to set up an overlay to show the GT fanatec watermark. Next update will be about that
Not a big update per se but just un update to the latest version of reshade 5.0.2
as such I added a new shader shortcut from this latest release called PowerVR2, what it does is to blur a little the image by decreasing and interlacing the resolution of the game this might help giving you that feeling of a broadcast camera, it might be though very subjective so I left it deactivated and you can activate and disable it via numpad num 8
Added the following changes to the Broadcast profile:
- Updated lumasharpen effect to match better with a broadcast camera effect
- added a slightly warm color temperature effect
Photorealistic profile is inhaltered
Just to share a personal feedback on the latest update. The current broadcast profile seems to work quite well either for sunny and cloudy/rainy weather condition. No further adjustments are needed at the moment for the Broadcast profile. It also seems to work quite well for night race
As per request I started adding profile switching to the suite
Now you have 2 different profiles you can simply switch based on the needs of the situation using Numpad -/+ to switch between them
First preset: TV broadcast (the one from the first version, same rules apply)
Second Preset: Photorealistic specific (to take photos/screenshots)
New Shaders and shortcuts added to allow multiple scenarios
- Numpad 0 - Letterbox effect
- Numpad 1 - TV Broadcast Tint effect for Sunny weather Day/Night
- Numpad 2 - TV broadcast Tint Effect for Cloudy/Rainy weather Day (to be used in addition to effect on numpad 1)
- Numpad 3 - Increased Bloom effect for cockpit and driver camera (not necessary)
- Numpad 4 - Increased color vibrance effect for a colorful palette (discretionary if you prefer a more colorful image)
- Numpad 5 - Filmic Bloom effect for better broadcast visual in replays (at your liking)
- Numpad 6 - Increase Contrast level for photorealistic photos/screenshots
