A7-Assist - Gamepad FX 1.0.1

Just got the game and stumbled on this script. Its simply awesome what I always wanted a controller to do in driving sim games. Someone needs to make this for ETS/ATS.

Such a awesome script! this is a game changer for me. i also like to sit and chill in my couch and play not have a wheel and the whole setup. I donated money to this guy. and everyone should. Such a great script.

Game changer, can't drift without it on controller. you reckon you can make a multi use assist for controller that can do a bit of both drifting and racing? so we could go crazy on no hesi

This takes a little while to get used to... but HOLY F***. This has made the game so, so much more palpable now. I've been shaving off anywhere between 5-7 seconds per car, per track. It takes a little while to get used to, but this is excellent. It still punishes being too greedy on traction, but now I actually get an indication that my tyres' grip is at their limit. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic.

Exactly the mod I was looking for, now I can finally enjoy AC casually

I'm struggling to find good settings for No Hesi/Racing. If anyone has any good settings could you please DM me, many thanks. As for drifting I have found my preferred settings.

It took some time and swearings to get used to and now I can't play without this mod. I prefer Geraint's profile with 1% steering speed / 75% steering filter. Works really well with tin tops. Thank you for your contribution.

The idea is good but it doesnt appear in content manager i use verison 0.8.2393.39063

For some reason, when i put it into the Joypad-assist folder, it doesn't show up in the content manager and im currently stumped.

This is very much like CarX's style. This is great if I'm too lazy to get on my rig and just want to pick up the controller instead. This is a MUST for people that want to drift on controller no questions asked. Night and day difference.

I have an old habit of doing minor corrections when playing with gamepad, it's a habit that has been there since I first played the first Gran Turismo. While it does help things to an extent, it doesn't really help when you have to navigate long sweeper corners and as such it will result in janky movement on the cockpit and bad laptimes.

The original Gamepad FX script doesn't do much to mitigate this issue as it's more speed sensitive, but yours helped eliminate this issue altogether in addition of finally helping me to not do repeated corrections on sweepers anymore, so thanks for this great script! ^_^

best controller app out there! Still a few bugs when drifting mostly but defiantly #1

This is absolutely necessary for drifting with a gamepad.
I believe it has further extended the life of AssettoCorsa.

Astonishing, night and day difference
I got covid so I'm way too sick to use my wheel. Thank to this mod I can play AC again, wonderful job :)
