v1.2 includes an updated version of the #48 Ally Cadillac by @SharpShark48.
Fixed logo on the roof of the BMW M Team RLL cars.
@SharpShark48 gave us permission to add his DPi Ally Cadillac #48 inspired livery to our 2023 IMSA pack. As Jimmie Johnson and other #48 drivers did not compete in the 2023 season, Renger van der Zande retains the drive; however, the LMDh.xml AI file does include a deactivated (i.e., <!--Jimmie Johnson-->) line that can be activated to replace Renger with Jimmie.
To activate Jimmie, simply edit the following lines in the last entry in LMDh.xml from this:
<!--<name>Jimmie Johnson</name>
<country>USA</country>-->
<name>Renger van der Zande</name>
<country>NLD</country>
to that:
<name>Jimmie Johnson</name>
<country>USA</country>-->
<!--<name>Renger van der Zande</name>
<country>NLD</country>-->
Thanks, @SharpShark48!
- Added inside banner for #09 car.
- Corrected position of the glowing lights on #91 & #92's number panels.
We are proud to provide v1.0 of the 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship Pack for AMS2, which includes an updated custom-AI file to replace a few part-time entrants, where suitable, with drivers who raced more frequently during the 2023 season. Some attributes were also revised to more closely reflect season standings in each category. Enjoy the Rolex 24!
BTW: There is a single, default skin left: Cadillac V-Series.R #9 (the last one, in slot #54). If any AMS2 modder out there has a fitting livery that he would like to contribute, please let us know!
Added some IMSA branded fantasy cars that fit to the brands currently in the game to fill the grid and fixed some older liveries.
5 new skins included:
#15 Lone Star Racing
#32 Team Korthoff Motorsports
#32 Team Korthoff Motorsports (Black Mercedes F1 inspired)
#57 Winward Racing
#75 SunEnergy1 Racing
This update includes a very small change: the lone, remaining default BMW M4 GT3 livery should be #28, not #55 so that Madison Snow appears correctly.
This update has a revised GT3 Gen2 custom-AI file that replaces all non-IMSA drivers with various drivers who raced during the 2023 season, with the following exception: Because a total of only four drivers raced the 720S GT3 and/or 720S GT3 EVO in 2023, both Paul Holton (2022) and Tom Gamble (2024) were selected for the final two McLarens.
v0.6.7 includes full custom-AI files, with individual driver attributes for the IMSA GTP & GTD classes. Naturally, those IMSA drivers with realistic skins have been prioritized over the remaining non-IMSA drivers who await replacement. Like the entire mod, these AI files remain a work in progress--but already represent a notable improvement
Thanks to @Mazdaspeed for his guidance pertaining to V1.5.5 AI behavior and for his suggestions regarding numerical ranges for each attribute.
New skin included:
- #79 WeatherTech Racing (GTD Pro).
5 new skins now included:
#1 Paul Miller Racing
#95 Turner Motorsports (GTD Pro version)
#96 Turner Motorsports (Liqui Moly version)
#96 Turner Motorsports (Yellow/Blue version)
#97 Turner Motorsports (GTD version)
- Corrected the inside banners (were inverted).
@GianmarcoFiduci's skins are now included as well, so no need to preinstall his skins first
The AO Racing Team "Roxy" 992 skin is now available under History tab. It will automatically replace the "Rexy" skin during AMS2CM installations.
The GTP/GTD mod v0.5.1 is available and combines both the GTP and GTD classes into a single, AMS2CM-compliant archive file. The archive name begins with an "x" so that it automatically installs after @GianmarcoFiduci's excellent Porsche and Cadillac skins.
Team BMW M Team RLL Liveries now included!
- Now AI files should be compatible with AMS2CM.
