1800r vs 1000r 49” ultrawide

Currently using a 1000r G9 49” but have been wondering if moving to the 1800r Oled version would be better?
Main reason for considering the move is to get back to single screen mode as I am currently using triple screen mode as I couldn’t get settled/comfortable with single screen and projection correction.

The G9 is my 3rd 49"-display and the more curving is IMO on the plus-side, but overall not really that much of a difference compare to the RG94 before with less curving. If you don't like the distortion at the edges, better buy a headtracker like TrackIR, so the cam is always centred with your view. The black-levels and contrasts are also so awesome with the G9 for an LCD, I doubt there is enough to gain with the OLED-display. Just got a Philips 499P9H for work and the G9 looks like OLED in comparison.
