The new WRC season has only just started, but EA Sports WRC 2024 liveries are already here – courtesy of the RaceDepartment community, that is! Here is how to race the designs.

The Rally Monte Carlo has been completed just a few days ago, but the RaceDepartment modding community had already been hard at work before the 2024 WRC season opener. Even before the event had taken place, the new car liveries were up in the download section, based on photos that were already available.
As a result, all three of the Rally1 cars have 2024 liveries available already. EA Sports WRC is not exactly a mod-friendly title, which also appears to extend to the creation of liveries. As a result of this, some of them might have to feature a few compromises. Still, they are a nice addition to the game – especially since it is not known yet whether there will be a 2024 DLC or a new game altogether for the new season.

RD community member @olivier brasseur has created the 2024 Ford design already. It replaces that of Ott Tänak, who made the switch to Hyundai for 2023. The livery will be updated after Rally Monte Carlo, according to its creator, so it is worth to occasionally checking back with the resource. You can download the livery here.

As for the 2024 Hyundai i20 N Rally1 livery, sim racers are spoilt for choice. Again, Olivier Brasseur has created Tänak and Neuville versions of the design, but he is not the only one. RD member @totolab has come up with a 2024 Hyundai livery of their own, which will also be updated in the future. A Mikkelsen livery will be added as well, according to the creator.

For the new season, the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 looks significantly different from the 2023 version. In line with the 2024 WEC car’s livery, the WRC challenger will feature more black and less white heading into the new season, making for a striking appearance. totolab has also brought this into EA Sports WRC already, even including part-time entries.

EA Sports WRC 2024 Liveries: Ford
Only two Ford Puma Rally1 cars will be entered full-time in the 2024 WRC season. Adrien Fourmaux and Alexandre Coria will man one of the cars, the other will be occupied by Grégoire Munster and Louis Louka.RD community member @olivier brasseur has created the 2024 Ford design already. EA Sports WRC 2024 Liveries: Hyundai
While the driver list for the Hyundai works team is significantly longer than that of Ford’s, it also only has two full-time entries. The duos of Thierry Neuville/Martin Wydaeghe and Tänak/Martin Järveoja are set to appear at every 2024 round, with Esapekka Lappi and Janne Ferm running a part-time program only. The same applies to Andreas Mikkelsen and Torstein Eriksen, as well as Dani Sordo and Cándido Carrera. As for the 2024 Hyundai i20 N Rally1 livery, sim racers are spoilt for choice. EA Sports WRC 2024 Liveries: Toyota
The Toyota works entry has certainly been involved in one of the most surprising news of the offseason. Reigning World Champion Kalle Rovanperä will not run the full 2024 season, instead opting for a part-time effort to prepare for a full-time return in 2025 in a more relaxed manner. This leaves Elfyn Evans/Scott Martin and Takamoto Katsuta/Aaron Johnston as the only full-time entries for the Japanese manufacturer. Sébastien Ogier/Vincent Landais will also appear at select rallies. For the new season, the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 looks significantly different from the 2023 version. How To Install Liveries
As stated earlier, EA Sports WRC is not the most mod-friendly title out there. However, installing the 2024 liveries and other mods that come as a .pak file is rather easy. All that is needed is a copy-paste of the file in question and an added launch command – that is it. RD user ehera has assembled a handy guide for this on the RaceDepartment forums – check it out here! How do you like the EA Sports WRC 2024 liveries?
