how is it even possible to make color changing paint in Photoshop? it normally is just one single color but maybe i could be wrong. i could use some maybe detailed info how that is even possible to accomplish

It is a custom shader thats not a normal option bit is semi hidden in csp shaders. look up chameleon shader csp on google and you will find threads about it. but basically, yes its one color with a shader that over lays colors based on the shader settings.
