This is true only if you are buying the "servers are expensive" line or that servers take forever to set up (they don't). My bet is that it's simply money. And it that case, they should have leveled with us. F1 2016 works quite well with 22 in a lobby.
I'm referring to the whole game in general... We are in the baby stages on console with thius game but believe me its very well worth it even in it's current spec.

That's pretty cool. (Although I thought I had seen in preview videos that the HUD could be toggled to see the tires. I think the damage indicator will tell you when you flat spot if ABS is off.

That sucks Eric. I hope this gets fixed, as the Red Pack looks to be quite the stunner. How do you find the driving? Are you able to find *any* telemetry?

There doesn't appear to be any way to toggle the car status info... It just pops up briefly when damage occurs.

There is just the tyre temp info in the garage when you go bvbvack to the pits. Nothing else that I can see.

I also had trouble using my download code for the bonus that came with my purchase so hgave emailed them about it just now.

Apparently servers are down so I might recieve my dlc some time in the near future.driving is awsome rest..... nothing abunch of giant p.cars size patches cant fix.lol not holding my breath

That is actually encouraging Eric. I get the sense that Kunos is extremely dedicated. (Albeit slow). If they can overcome their hairbrained decisions with patches and server upgrades, more power to them. I'll be watching.

Baby stages? :O_o: That was not your attitude when pCARS was dropped with no effective way to play with friends. :whistling:

IMO, they need to have a complete game or not release it. We are not beta testers. We pay $50-60 for a game. If I wanted to be a beta tester, I'd buy a PC.

Not impossible but just not what we planned.

Ahhh. Not what we planned? If F1 2016 had no career or safety car or better handling, or improved graphics, or (inset plan) that would also be "not what we planned" (sort of like ovals were promised by SMS). I have no problem dismissing expectations as too high. It's when they *promise* "fully customizable multiplayer" or even "multiplayer" at all (because it's really...players who fit in our boxes)...that's when they break the law. Consumer law here in the U.S. You can't promise something and then not deliver. Just like SMS did with ovals. That's probably why they are silent on the subject.

Actually if you remember I didn't but pCars on release as I didn't have an XBO or wheel at the time but as soon as I did I still purchased it despite the problems you guys were having with the online side of the game. This game was bought with the full knowledge that there were no private lobbies, that was common knowledge prior to release but I decided that it was worth the punt just to see what the fuss was about with regards to the driving in the game. A decision I'm certainly not regretting now having played it.

Unfortunately we are beta testers for most games in this age and most games are released requiring patches and fixes. Is it right... not really but we pay our money knowing that and have free choice to do so.

That's the point though Rob, they did tell us there were no private lobbies, it was a known fact prior to release. It wasn't what we wanted to hear of course but it was out there all the same. Before release I said that I would still make the purchase based on the single player possibilities with the game and the general view that it was the best sim out there for physics and handling. You took the alternate viewpoint and decided not to purchase which was something everyone could have done too.

Whered you finish last nite rob? I dont know what happened on my end car woyld not turn like it was at 2600 dor or something..tyres went up in flames on first lap.so I retired..sucks beening so far off pace.

I must say despite its drawbacks its easily the best feeling gsme ive played.who knew it cpuld be fun driving a fiat 500.lol
I know it's incredible handling isn't it. Ive barely been able to pull myself away from the Lotus 49 at '66 Monza... so many GPL memories from that combo :inlove:.

I just quickly dipped my toes into the career mode and did the first of the challenges at Vallalunga in the Abarth. SLow as it is even that is fun lol

Still no dlc thou..pretty pissed about that..I dont know who to contact as gamestop gave me another code bit it said why not share you alteady own this...?? But it doesny so anywhere loke the f1 booster pk dose right beside game.any idea or know whats going on?
