Will I be able to invite my Steam friends into the game?

One of the best features of Steam is to make multiplayer games truly seamless is the ability to directly invite your friends into your gaming session by a simple click (see Dungeon Defenders, Borderlands 1 & 2, Civilization V, amongst others).

Will Assetto Corsa take advantage of this if it gets Greenlit?

How about other features like Steam Workshop support for seamless mod installation and removal?

Well, nobody knows yet since the game is far from ready, this is the kind of thing Kunos will only think and deal about after AC gets accepted on Steam.

That sounds highly doubtful. Kunos must have a business plan which includes what they plan to do with Steam.

Do they plan on delivering patches via Steam, for example, and enabling the purchase of DLC cars and tracks directly through Steam?

Such decisions can't be made after it gets accepted.

But if they want to tell us their plan is a whole different thing, but leveraging Steam and going public with it would probably be a good PR move. Perhaps something to help push it through Greenlight faster?
