Why was my post denied?

I wrote a rather lengthy post about the build of my new cockpit. It went into moderation for some reason and now the posting appears to have been rejected without an explanation. Kind of annoying that a moderator hasn't told me what rule the post violated so I can correct it.

All posts in that forum are moderated because some people don't read the specific rules for that subforum. So until a moderator approves it it stays in moderation automatically.

Moderation is not the same as rejection btw.

The reason I thought it was rejected is that initially it showed up in the thread list as greyed out, which I understood to be awaiting moderation, but then it quit appearing in the thread list at all.
