I've always wanted to get a more accurate sense of the tire grip status in games, so I created a wheel slip/lock indicator. Big shout out to Rangey Rover for the slip-angle calculation, and a huge thanks to viper4gh for the LngWheel slip calculation. I tried to combine these two algorithms, incorporating the calculation of side slip (simplified simulation) into the tire grip calculation, all to ultimately serve the shakeIt Motor in simhub. Hi thanks for the work. i m also trying to get a better results but for LMU.
I use Viper4gh for my pedals too, but can you say where did you find the Rangey Rover for the slip-angle calculation ?

There is a .js in the archive. Where should i copy that? No Readme.TXT, no instructions for the instalaltion

Bug fix and ShakeIt Profile

  • Fixed several code logic errors that were causing wrong output
  • Update "RBR-Wheel-SlipLock-Indicator.simhubdash"
  • I've added a ShakeIt Motor profile. Once you import it, you can start using it. However, you'll need to manually assign two custom effects ("wheel lock" and "wheel slip") to your pedal motor in the Motors Output tab.

Do you have any tips for getting the understeer/oversteer and slip angle overlay to work correctly in RBR? The wheel lock and slip overlays function as expected, but the others show "NaR" and don’t seem to receive data properly. I may be doing something incorrectly or nor formatting the NGP Telemetry or gamerawdata.

Can you take a look at the simub log, Is there any related error information? I suspect you didn't turn on the NGP plugin.
 
You are correct. I did not have UDP telemetry enable within the RSF launcher. Thank you for that.

Other question: Is there a way to remove the "fade in" of the overlays on stage start? I'l like them loaded immediately rather than there being a 5-7 second delay of them appearing. I'm not finding an option within the overlay settings in Simhub

This is another long -term repuest feature. I have never paid enough attention. Let me see what I can do.
