Wet Weather track surface volume

Does anyone know how to reduce the volume of the track surface when it's wet?
The noise of the water splashing etc. is really loud, to the point where it's louder than the engine of the car.

I can't seem to find the setting that turns this volume down. Any tips?

I don't think you can yet. Audio balance hasn't reached the top of their to-do list, as there are/were other ridiculously loud sounds as well. They've fixed some (road/curb scrape, TC noises) but this is one they haven't gotten around to.
