VRS pedals fit with GT Omega ART baseplate

Hi all,
I'm about to order the VRS pedals. I see that the mounting brackets for the throttle are 62mm apart, and 70mm for the brake pedal. Tried measuring it on the GT Omega baseplate, and it seems to differ by a few mm (literally less than 3-5mm)

Did anyone try mounting it in a similar situation as me? DId you try fitting it?
Otherwise, I guess I will need to drill holes into it.
