AC VOTE FOR TRACK OF THE MONTH: October 2023

This year on Wednesday we almost only visited circuits where we have not raced before. And much more to come. I hope you all appreciate this.

But if we continue with this, it will be a long time before we do one of your favorite tracks again.

That's why I'm introducing the Track of the Month. Every last week of the month we go to a track of your choice!

By posting in this thread you can suggest one track where you want to go. PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING!
The track that gets the most suggestions will be chosen for Wednesday 25th of October 2023.

IF YOU WANT A 24H SIMULATION INSTEAD OF A NORMAL 1 HOUR DAYLIGHT RACE PLEASE PUT THAT IN YOUR POST ALSO!

Rules:

• Only suggestions of premium members will be taken into account
• Only one track can be suggested. Posts with more will be ignored.
• If mod then only from download section of RaceDepartment
• In case of a tie, the organizer decides which one to choose.
• No @Fat-Alfie tracks because we will be doing them in a championship sometime this year.
• It is allowed to make agreements with other riders about which track to choose; so that track has a better chance to be chosen.
• Also bribing is allowed.
• If you want the 24h simulation format, put in your post.

It's something we're trying to find out. Tomorrow the 1t race with the Honda also as an option.
On paper it should be a match. I did only a few laps and I was about 1,5s slower compared to the Abarth but with the default setup. Understeer was even worse than the Abarth but maybe someone can fix that with a clever setup. The Honda has the highest topspeed but probably is the accelleration not as good as the other two.

I´m faster with Civic than Abarth for 1 lap, full race distance Abarth maybe faster ´cause Civic like to eat front tires too much.

For the event the tyre wear is 10% as usual.

It's not bad Steve has a high top speed and maybe better acceleration - ratios seem better than the Abarth.

Probably 1sec behind the Abarth here though, as Kimmo says above, it eats it's tyres... yes it's 10% wear (as Han points out), but the 'contact patch' temp gets super hot mid corner and starts to slide. If it had a slightly better tyre it'd be mighty, and it's fun, imo

Yes John, it does want to let go mid turn. Am trying to cancel that out but right now lifting off is the only thing working. Would help if we could make the rear less stable and help with turn in like the Abarth does

Indeedy, lifting early and understeering to the apex helps momentum - might catch out those behind though (if there are any)

Agreed, it lacks that initial bite into the corner that the Abarth has. Increased fr ARB gives more bite, at the expense of some mid corner grip

The Oulton Park version by RT is absolutely brilliant, my local track and driven a few times there, this version is so close to irl
