I do feel that the comparison to guitar hero controls for Dark Souls is a little odd though.
Best I could come up with at the moment to emphasize the contrast between what I assumed the game will be and the notion of playing it using such specialized and expensive gear as motion platforms or indeed direct drive wheels.

What a person wishes to spend on their hobby is down to them there's no need for personal insults.

I insulted him because he somehow can't understand why he comes off as an elitist prick, not because of his spending hobbies. When he runs around calling only his DD wheel "proper hardware" I'll call him out on that bullshit right away.

Expecting support for DD wheels from AAA games is like expecting support and optimization for some theoretical custom non-NVIDIA/AMD GPU. The support for these miniscule amount of accessories is a bonus, not a feature.

Lastly, you wonder why the dislike for the DD wheels and VR users? Because they think they deserve special treatment from devs most of the time. but in reality their numbers are meaningless.

Lastly, you wonder why the dislike for the DD wheels and VR users?

You mean the people that are helping the industry that we are a part of move forward? Supporting new technology that eventually makes it's way down the line so that everybody gets to have a better experience?

You're welcome. I'm sure you're just as mad at all those damn car owners taking away the need to ride horses to work every day.

All 51 cars due to form part of the vanilla V-Rally 4 release have been confirmed ahead of the game launch next month.

V-Rally makes a surprise return this September 6th after almost 15 years in the wilderness thanks to the development efforts of Kylotonn Games, and fittingly for one of the most popular arcade racers of the late 90's / early 2000's, the fourth instalment to the franchise is packed full of some of the most iconic and impressive rally machines from the history of the sport.

Classic WRC cars face off against some of the most memorable machines of recent years in the Rally category of the game, which forms the main basis of the title with a very respectable 29 models initially on offer. Vehicles such as the ultra modern Polo WRC are joined together with some of the great (and not so great) cars from years past, marking an enviable selection of machinery both front, rear and all wheel drive to enjoy on the game stages.

Adding variety to the base content, Kylotonn have also added three additional classes, with V-Rallycross arguably one of the most potentially popular of the new title. Featuring just seven models, the rallycross portion of V-Rally 4 still manages to capture many of the more prominent and popular brands from current World Rallycross and GRC championships. Additionally, Hillclimb has a fair representation in the new title too, with a nice collection of historic and modern cars to enjoy on the specially created point to point climb stages within the game. The Hillclimb class is represented by 12 models, many of which are unique "specials" for this category of racing.

Finally bringing up the rear is the Extreme-Khana class, an eclectic collection of tuned and crazy cars for people who enjoy Ken Block style Gymkhana style events.

No Subaru!?
And a very limited Ford selection. This doesn't seem right.

VRally was a fun rally game but much preferred Sega Rally 2 for arcade rally or CMR 4 for something a little more serious.
That is until I discovered RBR, RSRBR and Dirt Rally. Nothing else pales in comparison.

Kylotonn better live up to the hype. I mean they turned the rebooted WRC series around after the mess that Milestone left.

V-Rally 4, the successor to a once legendary arcade rally series is here - available to purchase on console now!

Developed by Kylotonn Racing Games, V-Rally 4 marks a welcome return of one of the most popular arcade racing games on the 90's, some 16 years after the troubled launch of V-Rally 3 all the way back in 2002.

Having been reimagined by an increasingly busy Kylotonn for release on console yesterday, PC this September 25th and Nintendo Switch later in the year, V-Rally 4 already looks like a highly solid title with some impressive graphics and a very respectable collection of iconic cars from throughout the decades of rally history.

Containing five classes of racing using over 50 cars at launch and with 22 detailed environments to sample, V-Rally 4 looks highly likely to become the most completed and detailed offering of the long running and popular V-Rally series to date.
