In the last lap 31 or in lap 30 I got a "connection issue - server seems to be unavailable".
Beside this: Not my car.., too understeery for my habit/style, too wonky.. ;).
For me "only" max. 1:56 / 1:57 possible in race and maybe a 1:54 in a good qualy lap.
I was 1-2 sec. slower than some of you drove (1:55 or even some 1:54s at the beginning of the race, you guys managed).
So I still need to get the clue, to drive it quicker :).

Good race all !

Nice race. A bit too long in my opinion... I'd ran here 20ish laps or so.

I had some major issues as I expected being my first time with this car, but @Joao M Alves setup helped a lot. I lowered my best to 1:54:6 while I was running 1:55:2 with the default setup.

As usual qualifying for me is even worse then what my final exams were... couldn't complete a single lap (exactly the same thing happened at Silverstone) and during the race I made SOOOOOO many mistakes that I should have ended last as punishment.
My G27 has now some calibration issues after the series of punches I threw at it.

@Connor Greyser I had the best moment ever when I caught up with you and we were head to head (think was slightly before half race?) and sorry if I screwed up what it could have been a long interesting duel. Too much noob with this car so far.

Congrats to all btw!

Did, you hit the steering wheel icon on the top left after qualifying? You have to hit that to get to the grid.

Also You have to log on to team speak for club races. Let me know if your having trouble doing that.

Argh I don't remember what I've hit but most probably I screwed up something :)

As per TS, I think I've deleted some registry keys when I cleaned up my PC a couple of days ago and TS didn't start up so I need to re-install it. @Joao M Alves sent me a message on Steam about that, but again, I was having some technical difficulties with RealHeadMotion plugin and had to do a couple of things to fix it... so I forgot to tell him about the TS thing.

I'll try to log in later today to the TS server after I've re-downloaded it to see if it works.

Oh wow boy, did I have a fun time last night or should I say early this morning :) From start to finish it provided drama of all sorts but it was good drama, what I have seen so far is the huge respect for the RD rules  but most of all its like TS add so much more excitement. After that race had done I think I had another 31 more laps in me :D

Thanks for putting on the event, and also everyone who came out.
As someone said last night maybe this morning "who says street car aren't fun"

Big Thanks to Kunos for letting me drive it like I stole it.

 = tears of joy

I had such a fun race too. I qualified Second with a 1.54.283 and the rolling start went fantastic. On the first racing lap I overcooked the brakes and went right off the first corner (Luckily not hitting anyone) and rejoined fourth. I then took the tyre conservation strategy and was worried it was all going to fall apart when Emilio caught up to me. Unforunetly he spun out trying to pass on the outside of one of the turns and I was free to continue conservation. In the last six-ish laps I was a good 30 seconds behind the leaders when they: Saleem, Kevin, and Joao; messed up on the last turn and allowed me to catch up and pass Joao and be in contention for the win. Then I passed Saleem and suddenly I was in second. As soon as I noticed that Joao caught up to me and ended up passing me with three or four to go. I was about to settle for third when on the 30th lap Joao thought the race was over and as soon as he crossed the finish line he celebrated by crashing into the wall. That allowed, some comic relief after 30 laps, and me to take second place the next lap, so thanks @Joao M Alves.
