This is the pro version which basically has a washable leatherette face cover as opposed to cloth cover on standard version.
It is the newer version 2 with new cable clip as previous version had problems with clip coming loose.
Comes with original box.
Works great and obviously I've preordered the G2 which hopefully arriving soon.
I added a slight comfort mod which is a little bit of foam on overhead strap.

How does this work without the controls, does it have any issues?

Works fine James, just map a centre headset view button to your wheel or joystick in game option menu and you're good to go.
