trackpack creation help

trackpack creation build
track-pack creation build
season track build

Good morning

I see that many tutorials, guides, and help for rfactor have been lost (youtube videos, blogs, etc)... every time I search for something on google it redirects me to rfactor 2... it is increasingly difficult to access certain information.

Anyway... I wanted to make a trackpack, and I'm learning.
(you know... download some circuits from the internet and package them to make a season) (to then create a championship)

I want to download a list of circuits... and not have them be disorganized in the circuit selection list.
The ideal would be to create a folder... and have all the circuits be there... but doing that doesn't make them appear in the list. (you have to edit files)

I remember in F1 Challenge 99-02 you had to have ALL the files for ALL the circuits with the SAME NAME.
example:
02australia.gdb
02australia.cam
02australia.mas

should it be like this in rfactor? or is it enough to change WITHIN the files where it has to go?

another question:
when a circuit is installed... a ".HAT" file is created. HOW TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO "COINCIDENCE" WITH IDENTICAL CIRCUITS?...(that it generates it but with a different name) that is, if a circuit is duplicated (one inside the trackpack and another outside of it)... do not use the same HAT... because I could make some modification and generate a ctd crash.

saludos!

I found the guide!
(in Spanish, sorry)

Question... why is it INSISTENT that the code line "GrandPrixName" be equal to "EventName"?...

I put (for example):

TrackName = CIRCUIT X
EventName = 01-CIRCUIT X
GrandPrixName = 26 Grand Prix of some COUNTRY
VenueName = F1 19xx Trackpack

and it didn't cause me any problems.... (I understand that the "venuename" value is required to be the same on all circuits)...but why "grandprixname" too?

To add to the confusion...
In RF2 (I don't have it)...I searched and there was a fix that removes that code:
" removed redundant gdb value "GrandPrixName"...since it was always identical to "EventName" "

Here, speaking of RFactor 1, I didn't have any problems having two different names on a circuit
(EventName vs GrandPrixName)
