Sorry for late creation of the thread. A couple of weeks ago we did an LMP1 Showdown with the LMP1-cars at Bahrain. However, there was one car that we didn't get to use in that race, because it's simply too fast. That is the Toyota LMP1-H. This week, the Toyota is our beast of choice!

SERVER IS UP!

oh my god im so slow against ai, like 10s a lap. also i cant seem to adjust the mirrors? i get the popup showing the chage but the mirrors dont mive?
This car seems to be monstrously quick in the slow-speed corners. I am amazed how much speed it can carry into the hairpins.

You'll have to take AI pace with a pinch of salt. When I was practicing against AI for the IndyCars at Indianapolis GP a few weeks ago, the AI were doing 1:13s, I couldn't break out of the 1:16s, but pole when we all convened for the race was 1:15.5.

I couldn't get within a few seconds of the AI when I practiced on Wednesday, but we will see what happens. I'll share my setup tonight to see if that helps you.

How do you adjust mirrors? I didn't know that was possible.

AI is crap, you cant take their pace as a guideline. Also, track evolution plays a big part in rf2 now. When we go to qually, the track goes back to green and times get quite a bit slower.

Hmm, last week the server kept rubber. Should do that this week too. I know it reset 2 weeks ago, but I made some changes to get back to the AutoSave thing to work again.

i adjust the mirrors ctrl + arrow keys for left mirror, alt+ arrow keys for right mirror.

if you wouldnt mind sending the setup that would be ace, i have literally no free time at the moment.

Currently updating our servers to get todays hotfix. One of the fixes is this:
  • Track loading: Fixed real road data not loading properly from user specified files when road temperatures were set to generated
So that's probably going to be sorted then :)

Thanks for racing guys, these cars are great fun, insane how the AWD shoots you out o the corners. Realized in practice that tyres are very sensitive to overheating and wear quickly, especially entering corners fast. Interestingly applying a bit throttle early forced the car around and cooled the tyres a lot. Decided to try to go without tyre change and save them. No pit seemed too loose too much time with the short pitlane here so I decided against trying that. Race went pretty flawless, could keep Colin at a distance where he couldn't make a move but I was still able to not push too much. Laptimes were pretty consitent as long as the tyres didn't overheat, even if the were down to 60% or less. Pulled up a gap to Edward who I was expecting to not stop as he dropped back quickly. Pit stop went flawless as well so it was only a matter of brining it home.
