*IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ*

Historic racing is famous for the gentleman racer era and that is the kind of atmosphere that I'd like to foster in the club. Please take time to read these web pages and try to get an understanding of what racing in this club is/should be all about.

Thanks

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
  • Note: Please use your full real name in game and on Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

Hey Denis you are in the Moment the only guy In the entry list. Could we set the practice and race 1 hour later at 21 utc? I would really love to join the race but 20 utc is to early, I can't :(
So if the race would start at 21:35, I would sign up for the race

I'm sorry I can't change the time. We race at the same time every week throughout the winter. This is because we are mostly EU and UK based drivers - although we sometimes have people racing with us in Canada, the US, Australia, etc.

In summer time we race at UTC+1 because of daylight saving time. These times have been fixed for several years so that people get used to them. We cannot change them around because somebody will miss out, sorry.
You are welcome to sign up for Race 2 only if you want to. You'd be very welcome - we are always very happy to have new drivers join us. Participation has been very low lately, so we will try extra hard to make you welcome.

If you decide to race with us, we would ask you to read the rules, linked in the OP, and (so that I can tell which drivers are on the server) use your real name in game and on Discord. You will also need to click on your name tab (top right of the page ^) and go to Account Details, where you need to fill in the Real Names field. Your real name will only be visible to other Premium members and RD staff. It will not be show in any internet search results.

Sorry to give you extra hoops to jump through, but it's the same for eveybody and only takes a few moments. If you have any questions, about this or linking your RD account to Discord, or anything else, please just ask.

Hope to see you on Thursday.

All the best. :)

I would LOVE to enter races but at this hour?!?! This is dinner hour in Europe….. impossible to participate! :( why not make others @ example 11pm utc (23h utc) I bet much more players!! This is only to who don’t have a life or a mom who makes dinner….

Yeh we have people suggest this occasionally, but that time would be way too late for people with work commitments. I'm afraid it's simply not possible to not possible to provide racing that pleases everybody. If you'd like to race this evening there is always a 60s F3 (Spark vs Eve) on a certain !Fanatics Server which runs 24/7 and races are organised for every Saturday.

I know that people eat dinner at different times. But 20:00 UTC is 21:00 GMT+1 (CEST) and 22:00 EET. Moving it later means that racing will end way past midnight for Eastern Europe. Which isn't amazing either.
Not to mention, it would have to suit race hosts as well. Which is why we don't have US/Oceania timeslots.

The race-time is based on around 15 years of experience, and it does seem to be the timeslot that covers the largest amount of drivers.
