Touring Car Revival is a conversion of the much loved Touring Car Legends mod for rF1. Work was carried out by the team at xFactor Racing - so it's from the same stable as the Aussie Legends mod, which is proving so popular here at RD. The updated TCR mod (April 18) was well received in it's first RD outing 2 weeks ago. Although there are several cars included in the mod, we have chosen to split them up for the first few Club Racing events at RD, in order that we get a chance to race them all.

A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

SERVER IS UP!

If I can get the cars added to the new Steam version of rF2 I'll be around. If anyone has a quick guide laying around of how to add these in I'd be thankful for it to be posted either in this thread or in a PM to myself as I love GrA cars, I raced the rF1 version of these to the ground (I think I only raced these in my spare time for a good 3 years before I spent time with anything else back in the day (Bar the occasional Club or League race) :roflmao:

@Jonatan Åcerclinth

You can get the latest version here ..there is a link for every car, so get one or get them all your choice.

Touring Car Revival

Each car when downloaded will end with .rfcmp

You now put each of those files (depending how many cars you downloaded) into your Packages found in your rFactor2 folder ...

steam/steamapps/common/rFactor2/Packages

You will now run rFactor2

In the rFactor 2 launcher click the open box on the left hand side, you will now see everything that is installed in rFactor 2

Along the top of the screen you will see Name - Version - Pkg - File - Type - Category - Installed

Double click "Installed" this will bring all the "none" installed items to the top of the window ...now highlight one or all of the none installed items and on the bottom of the window, left hand side you will see a button called Install ..so with the files highlighted that you want, click the Install button and it will go ahead and install them...hope this helps
