Time to replace graphics

This Friday I'm going to replace my 2 8800GTX's with something a little more compatible with the rest of system, I'm looking at going for a GTX275 Evga with 1768 memory, can anyone tell me if they run this card or even the 275 range and if there are any problems when running GTRE,

reason for my upgrade is that the system becomes very unstable in SLI and still not 100% stable out of it either but it's far more than SLI mode, I get the old NV4_disp.dll error

the rest of my system setup is as follows

Intel Q9650 3Ghz Extreme @1333mhz (water cooled)
EVGA 780I Mobo
4GB (2x2) cosir domination @ 1066
on board soundcard
Targan 1200watt psu
2x FXF 8800GTX Not in SLI but water cooled

I know I will enjoy the jump in power to handle the top rez on my dell 3008wfp monitor, I just don't want to see graphic corruption everywhere.

Any advise greatfully taken on board
