Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

This week an event where old and new meet. From the 1969 film The Italian Job the classic Mini Cooper and from the 2003 remake the modern Mini, both in their own class. To make it even more Italian, we race them on a real city circuit in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. The track is the amazing Luccaring with its roundabouts, straights, fast curves and a deadly moat. Be careful, it's back to the pits when you finish there!
Although it is a street circuit, there are plenty of overtaking places.

So this event is for the lovers of classic cars, but also for those who prefer a modern experience.

The more the merrier so join us for an exciting race and:

A message to all Drivers,

If you run off track, you have to check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.

When entering the track from the pits, stay off the racing line until you are up to speed. Do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by. On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium

May end up signing out late to this one since so far the only TCR knockout event I could get into is at the same time and not sure I can hold two track/car combos in my head at once ;-)

If I manage to change my slot to another day, then that would be ideal.

EDIT: Good news! Managed to get into the Thursday knockout instead.

Go win the whole thing Chris! :sneaky: The AC club will cheer for you ;)

Im in and looking forward to this one. This is such a cool track but the AI seems to think its driving left drive cars because it keeps grinding against the left side walls!

i decided to go with the modern mini because the sound of the old one kinda drives me nuts. I dont really know why. Maybe i should just get over it. :)
