these are uv maps and you need them to create own paints / liveries,
you need photoshop or similar programs to use these files,,, you dont have to install it in game.

OK,but how do i get the livery into the game? No idea how to do that? The Livery editor doesn´t really work in the game yet

the livery editor works great, but at the moment its not possible to use own liveries,
but you can work on it and when its ready you can use them

The livery Editor always freezes for me. I can´t open any files. I always have to close the game with the task manager, nothing works

normally the file explorer opens for chosing your png file, maybe in the background ???

what happens if you switching to desktop with ALT + TAB ???
