I've been researching for project for a long time and kept deferring it for multiple reasons, but I am ready to take it on. I won't mention to much to begin with as I am trying to figure out the best method (practically priced) for where to mount a tactile transducer of some sort to my seat to start with. I figure there are 3 options. It's from a 2012 Audi A6 Prestige. I still need to figure out how to get the electronics wired as well, haven't been able to find all needed documentation, but a real car seat is where I still stay, tried every other kind of seat and they are all absolutely dreadful for my body, won't get into all of that now.
1: One on the plastic part on side at rear of seat that can easily have one mounted there. Unsure about how well feedback will be felt with it there though, doesn't seem to be common placement.
2: Either a bracket on each side where those screws are near middle of rail that has a bar that goes across to other side or a bracket that uses those screw holes to add a piece of wood or whatever that goes across that I could mount one to. That could put in middle, perhaps just one would work like that.
3: Below pics you can see the seat pan with fan in middle. On each side, there is some room, although not entirely flat to mount one on each side. That seems like best placement to feel in my butt, although getting proper mounting would be tricky, maybe some kind of custom piece that can securely mount to seat pan and provide flat surface. This has potential benefit of isolation if seat pan is isolated from rest of seat, could save me from needing to isolate the seat from the rig.
Other pic showing back has options of where to mount some on back, perhaps one in center, one on each side in smaller area, maybe 4 corners of seat back area with small ones. Thanks for any assistance.
