Switching/changing sounds for cars

Hi all,

I have recently been using the IMSA 2023 Mod for rFactor 1. I don't really like the AMG sounds in the car pack and I wanted to change it. I thought of using the sounds from the AMG gt3 in the GT World Challenge Car Pack for rF1 to replace the AMG sounds in the IMSA 2023 Pack, but I don't know how to do it. Can anyone help?

I just want to make it so I can use the sounds from the GTWC AMG gt3 car with the IMSA 2023 AMG.

Backup the .sfx file in the car you want to add the sound to, copy the sfx file from the "donor" car to that folder and rename it to match the original .sfx. How well this works will depend on how similar both engines are in regards to rpm range and power.

Didn't work . My game kept crashing. Any fix?

Nevermind it did work. For some reason, testing kept crashing.
