ACC Super Trofeo @ Silverstone - Tue 24th Sep 2019

Assetto Corsa Competizione Racing Club event
st1.jpg

We continue with the Lamborghini Super Trofeo circus, this time going back to Silverstone, and following the schedule of race 2 for the weekend. We introduce a new feature by implementing the mandatory pit-stop, where you will have to swap seats with your other self, and go out with a fresh set of tyres. Adding an extra tactical factor to the race, it's time to see who is the best driver/race engineer!

All premium members can sign up for this event and we have unlimited slots available so make sure to bring a friend. Sign up below and make sure to tag fellow community members who you think are up for a challenge!

CUSTOM LIVERIES

Since we are all using the same car, we will once again allow the use custom liveries for this event :) This is still not a fully supported feature, but it has worked in previous events so we are trying it again. This is not mandatory, you can still drive with the game's livery :)

So, if you want a custom livery for this event, I would need to have your Steam64 ID (if you want to keep it private you can send it via PM). Then follow the instructions and sign up with the information requested on the button below:

There are 3 different livery designs; choose which colour you want on the White (1), Red (2) and Blue (3) areas (see templates below).

For the rims, there are two colours to use; choose which colour you want on the Black (4) and the White (5) areas, for the main spokes and the outer ring respectively (see templates below).

Finally, choose your sponsor, number, and paste the completed list below when you sign up:

SteamID:
Car livery:
Number: <1-998>
Color (1):
Color (2):
Color (3):
Rim (4):
Rim (5):
Sponsor:

MANDATORY PIT-STOP
This feature is not fully supported yet, but it should be working, so we will give it a try. We will be trying different scenarios for each race, to assess how everything develops. :) So these are the rules for this race:

Mandatory number of pit-stops: One (1)
Pit window length: 10 minutes
Pit window time in race: from 30 minutes to 20 minutes
Driver stint limit: None
Mandatory refuelling: No
Mandatory tyre change: Yes
Mandatory driver-swap: No

Make sure you have your controls fully set up in order to use the pit menu if necessary, and plan the pit-stop in the strategy menu of the Setup page in game, in order to minimise the number of buttons to press when driving.

On top of that, Test pitstops during practice (or even offline for that matter) so you won't be surprised

Noticed this race is on a Tuesday, however the Practice, Qualy and race times are posted as:
Practice: 19:00 UTC (30 minutes) - In-game server time: Friday 16:00
Qualifying: 19:30 UTC (15 minutes) - In-game server time: Saturday 10:00
Race: 19:45 UTC (50 minutes) - In-game server time: Sunday 11:00

Is this correct?????

Yes :)

The first part of the schedule (on the left) is the schedule for us in real life in the world.

The second part of the schedule (on the right) is for the simulated weekend in the game.

I will post this in a new layout/wording from now on in order to avoid confusion in the future
