Sum up your 2011 on RD

Ross Balfour

#99 | Roaring Pipes Maniacs
It's approaching the end of yet another year, and I'm approaching 4 years on Racedepartment now. 2011 has been the quietest year for me, with exams, work and social life taking over, I definiately haven't been able to race or post in this forum as much as I would like to compared to years gone by. I saw a thread in another forum which I thought I would "Borrow" :D as I thought it was a nice, friendly touch to sum up 2011 on Racedepartment. Just complete the following few questions answering with a member of Racedepartment. Hopefully most members can have a go at this, and nobody gets offended if they aren't selected. I will do my list too in a few days :)

The best quote:

On tyres…
I don’t know and it doesn’t mean anything to me. Tyres are what they are.
On Finland…
Well, in summer there’s fishing and f#¤king. And in winter… the fishing is bad.
Kimi, what’s the 5th grid place like?
It’s the 5th grid place.
On not seeing red lights in the pit lane…
If there’s a red light when you leave the pit lane you have to stop. Then some wooden eye (Hamilton) crashes into you and breaks the car.
The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you?
It protects my head.
Do you have any special rituals when the helmet is concerned like many have?
I wipe it so that I can see better.
What are the kind of things that make you angry in normal life, as you say?
If you keep asking questions like those.
On the Yas Marina Circuit
“Well, the first few turns are quite good, but the rest of it is ****”
During his NASCAR debut…
“We’re so f"#king ****, it’s unbelievable. The car is **** because I cannot get it turned! It is so frustrating! I cannot get the f"#king car turned!”’
