Wins are calculated by counting a drivers wins in a season and dividing the races in that season from 23. For example, a win in a 10 race season would equal 2.3 wins in our current 23 race season. Only past champions were calculated for brevity. Enjoy.

It does state that only past champions are included so Max isn't on it as he's the current champion.
I'm not sure of the statistics here, but with around 200 races and some 60 wins that's about 1 in 3 hit rate, that's likely very near the top... that includes 19 in one season, that's more than poor ol' JB got in his career.

I still think that the late great Gerry Marshall has a more impressive set of statistics 625 wins in his career, from the time he first raced until his death he had an average win rate of one every 3 weeks, he never got to race in single seater's as he claimed he'd never get his big arse in one of them little things (generally weighing 17 stone)

This is only Grandprix races. Sprints count as they have points for them so performance in them is a factor for the over all championship points for Driver and Constructor.
