Hi!
Some time ago i start to develop a new "fan made" Stock Car mod, with new generation cars.

The cars need some new developments and corrections, but they are on track

Here some pictures

I have to ask you @C1G_Modd because I'm curious – will you be making your own physics from scratch, or modifying the physics for the existing AMS 1 Stock Cars? I must confess I have no knowledge of how the 2022 cars differ in specifications to the earlier cars that are in AMS 1. by default

Great work !

I really hope these will be released along with a skin pack.

As far as physics go, my understanding is that the chassis is basically the same as Stock car 2017. Engine does not seem much different either. I would copy-paste the physics from the last Reiza StockV8 car.

Hi! I'm gonna make the physics with a friend who knows some drivers and they can bring us some info about the car

i don't know if the physics gonna feel real

That's the idea, maybe it will be take some time, but i wanna free them before christmas

But, have no idea if Reiza Studios go to allow the project

They may not need to "allow" it. I'm pretty sure there's a way to assign the physics from an existing Reiza car to any modded car in-game. No need to decrypt and copy Reiza's physics – which is what you're understandably worried about, I'm guessing. I am 90% sure there's a line in a text file where you, in effect, can say "PHYSICS=Formula_V8" or whatever. Not a car modder, though, so I could be wrong (although I don't think so) and I definitely do not know precisely what file to look in. :(

If it's possible to do what I said above, you could even still alter the physics to your own tastes if you wanted. You could do so by adding "upgrades" to the car.

Skilled car modders like Niels Heusinkveld, Richard Wilks, or Matthew Sibanyoni know better than I about these things, though. You can contact them on the AMS Unofficial Discord in the "modding-general" channel... they're very knowledgeable and helpful :)

There's definitely a way to do it.

If I'm not mistaken, you just have to point to the right physics file in the .veh of the car you've created.
For instance, with the F1 '88 mod available here on RD, in every veh file:
...
HDVehicle=F_Classic.hdv
Graphics=F_Classic_digital.gen
Spinner=F_Classic_digital_Spinner.gen
Upgrades="Arrows88/88Arrows_upgrades.ini"
GenString=
Cameras=F_Classic_cams.cam
Sounds=F_Classic.sfx
HeadPhysics=F_Classic_HeadPhysics.ini
Cockpit=F_Classic_cockpitinfo.ini
...

All the files with bold caracters are Reiza's genuine F_Classic files.

(hope I did not write bogus stuff)

Since the 2023 Stock Car season is just getting underway, I was reminded of this mod. Hopefully it eventually is released... would be fantastic to have up-to-date Brazilian Stock Cars in AMS 1. :)

And as for physics, you can simply point each car's VEH file to the correct Reiza Stock Car HDV file, as polo explained above. @C1G_Modd if you have any questions about how to do this, feel free to DM me – I've just recently been putting Reiza physics on modded cars myself, so I could help out if need be.
