Steam Offline Mode issues

There are times where I must play in Steam offline mode (Steam>Go Offline). It works fine with ACC, but with AMS2 I can get into a game and start an offline race against the AI. But AMS2 will lock up as soon as the race is over. Anyone else having this issue?
