F1 2020 Starting engine in MyTeam how much difference does it make?

I watched a bunch of different Twitch and Youtubers who all started MyTeam's with differing engines from Honda, Renault and Mercedes and I don't particularly think any of it made much difference to their Teams success over a season. Has anyone tested it to see what the practical differences are? I don't think I am consistent enough in F1 2020 to spot the difference in lap times that might be produced in the first GP but I am sure someone is.

Not sure but I think it will be the durability that you will see the difference in as the season progresses. Having a Honda that you need to change out more often vs the Merc or Ferrari that lasts into the season. The power levels should help a bit to overcome a lack of initial development in the chassis and aero.
