Soundcard - on deep waters...

Money i have now, around £20. A soundcard must I have, because the onboard is .....:wink:
Tested on my ipod, the music files it's not, krrrr sound at peak i hear.

A piece i must buy anyone has?

not sure how much it will improve, maybe not much depending on the motherboard sound (more money will give you a better sound quality), but it will free a small portion of the cpu and improve gaming a bit

Well, is 7.1 needed? as i have a creative CS100 stereo (rarely used) and a creative fatality headset?
- But i should go for a creative soundblaster series?

Go for a Asus Xonar, better then the Creative offerings overall. The Xonar DS is in that price range.
