Some cars have woeful sound?

RFactor 2 some cars sound amazing,most sound terrible.

Main discrepancy is not all content is updated or developed for new sound engine upgrade in 2023.

P.S.

When S397 took over rF2 most would agree with you including myself.
First update was simply to rename folders to remove the ISI.
Since some have been updated for PBR and other things but none that
I know of for audio I seen in changelogs but maybe I missed it.
Since then new content ( DLC) and I think a few free cars have improved audio with new sound upgrades.
I be surprised if any old mods have updates for the new audio other then mono/stereo fix
