This time the little Beamer can show how much power it got and what's his max. G-Force! Up to the legendary Spa Francorchamps !
Fasten your seat-belts and be careful with the right foot - this car likes it sideways!

Wait? What is this?
For this event you need absolutely nothing special. A copy of Assetto Corsa, keyboard, console controller, or steering wheel it's all fine. Today we are going to focus on getting you on the online track (for the first time) and giving you a great experience and making you a better driver.

Make sure to be on time for the extended practice session and have teamspeak installed and be with us for the full length of the event. This is the longest session of almost an hour to get familiar with the car and the track. That's right, you don't need to practice offline first. You can come by fully unprepared

After practice we move to qualification to decide the racing order and do a short fun race of only 30 minutes so everybody can return to their wives, girlfriends, mom in time.

A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

Heh. RBR I'd done to death before that race, Zandvoort I just hate literally half of - I miss the old one. I'm assuming this series won't be running mod tracks?
No mod tracks for the social events. We try to keep the entry barrier as low as possible. Though we keep the internal discussions alive whether this should be changed or not, and when.
For the moment it won't change. The other days use mod tracks quite frequently :)

VERY Tempted, just need to check im actually home! (and maybe this time I will use a setup from the v10 tyre model rather than the v7 from last time  )

But this car handles like a pig on standard setups, as long as we are all nice and share, we can all be on the same setup, but one that actually works ;)
Its a shame really, as its a great entry car for people wanting to try more powerful RWD vehicles. Its got 'minimal' setup options in some ways. Is easy to drive, ABS, TC and reacts how you expect to car changes. Just needs a bit more promotion I reckon...

Hm, dunno that open setups will bring anyone else in - it's nice for people who can build setups but there was something to be said for everyone wrestling the same thing :p
Yeah, I know what you mean. It's worth a shot, but meanwhile we have something else lined up for next week... ;)

But this car handles like a pig on standard setups
I am a bit rubbish at setups but the ones I've got from other people didn't feel much quicker at the tracks I've tried, at least with my driving style. I kinda concluded that the default wasn't too far off optimal.

I'm in please
Welcome aboard ;)
