Slow loading; resetting stuff like caches?

Hi guys,

Since today, my game starts pretty slowly. I do that with CM as I always did; the loading screen of the track comes up and goes black as it always did, but now that screen stays on for a full minute.

Now 'back in the day' for some game, you had to empty some cache or delete contents of some folder: is that still a thing with this game and/or CM, is that what I can go look for?

It is not a mayor problem, but it bugs me a bit and I thought of this 'thingie from the past', wondering if it is still a thing to do and where to do that
