Skins and cars get overwritten when updates are installed

Hi Guys

I edited my F V10 and extreme seasons with new names and skins.

After the latest updates, these have been overwritten.

Any Ideas on how to stop this happening or prepare for it again?

There is a utility called JSGME (JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler) which allows you to copy files into game folders with the click of a button. Put your modded files in the JSGME mod folder and then disable them when you update and re-enable them after each update.

AMS gets updated so often, this utility is a must.

No problem.

The other suggestion I would make is to create a number of dummy srs+tga files as place holders. That way you can enable and disable mods without having to renumber them all every time. The srs+tga files must be numbered sequentially in the Series folder or it messes up the way the game reads which series are present.
